Kong is a five-reel, 20-payline video slot featuring images and characters from the 2005 film "King Kong," a remake of the original, 1933 version. Join actors Jack Black, Naomi Watts and Adrien Brody as you try to escape the dangers of the jungle and cash in on prizes during the bonus rounds.
The game is played in two modes: Jungle Mode and Big City Mode. In each of these modes, the symbols change visually but the base paytables remain the same. In Jungle Mode, three or more gorilla symbols anywhere on the reels trigger the Wild Jungle re-spins feature, in which the player is awarded three free spins. When a wild symbol appears during Wild Jungle, it remains frozen on the reels until the feature ends.
When a player hits three or more "Kong" text symbols in Jungle Mode, they are taken to the Skull Island bonus, where they can choose a location on a map that reveals one of three creatures, or even King Kong. The aim is to match three creatures to win a cash prize, but uncovering King Kong nets the biggest prize. Once a prize is awarded, Jungle Mode ends and Big City Mode begins.
Like Jungle Mode, players look for three or more gorilla and "Kong" text symbols to trigger similar bonuses in Big City Mode. In the Wild Kong re-spins feature, two entire reels are wild on each of the first two free spins, and three reels are wild on the third. In the City Tower bonus, King Kong is under attack atop the city tower. The player is faced with three planes and must pick one of the three to take down. Each plane is worth a cash prize. Once City Mode ends, Jungle Mode begins again.
