Dear Casino City Readers, My life is not as exciting as you think. Want to know what I did this past weekend? I watched family vacation slideshows with my parents, my sister and her boyfriend. Slideshows. Both nights. This is not a joke. See what happens after one week in Montreal and the Bahamas when you're surrounded by Swedish people? Detox all the way. No booze, no sååååja, no shpritz, no nothing. It was fekking fantastic. Now I am a new woman, ready to take on Vegas in early July for the World Series of Poker, but that's another story for another time. Now that I have regained my strength, I was able to work with my contact at Everest Poker and Everest Casino to create some special bonus offers for Casino City players only. Everest Poker offers all players a $100 bonus, however if you sign up with Everest Poker through Casino CIty, you will receive an additional $50 for a total of $150 upon signup. To claim this bonus, enter bonus code CCITY150 within read more

It is amazing what can happen in two years. I attended my first GIGSE in May, 2005 and knew absolutely no one, attended May, 2006 and knew absolutely everyone, attended June, 2007 and no one was there. Imagine that. Lucky for me, this year I was able to nail down a solid group of about 20 people who were up for some nice meals and some big nights out. Honestly, I think that our nights were wilder than ever before just so we could prove a point. No sponsored parties? Fine. We'll have more fun on our own. Thanks to Jodie from, I experienced one of the wildest nights of my life (well, maybe not as wild as my CAP Spring Break experiences...) ... read more

I have just returned from my seventh trip to Costa Rica since I started working in this crazy online gaming industry, and once again, what a ride. I spent most of my time with the Poker Host boys, Absolute Poker, Ultimate Bet, and I even made a new friend...the affiliate manager of Pitbull Poker. I love her. So guess what? Casino City is now working with Pitbull. Typical of my life. So much for a vacation. ... read more

So here we go again. I'm going back to Costa Rica for Memorial Day weekend, and I know what you are thinking…What? Are you kidding? Why? Do you ever work? Where's Jenny? The truth is I absolutely love Costa Rica and all my online gaming contacts that live there. Oh yes, and the whore houses too. This time around I am going for fun, on my own dime, and with zero conferences to attend, thank god. Of course I'll be with online gaming friends and talking business roughly 90% of the time, but what can you do. ... read more

Yes, I found my phone. It was at Caselli's Amsterdam apartment, remember? Evil. He is evil. Anyway, throughout the course of this past week, a large number of my online gaming contacts asked me if I was able to find my phone (for those of you who did not actually see me flip out, I "misplaced" my cheap little international phone when I was slightly intoxicated one night in Amsterdam). Here is the best part- many of the people who asked about the phone were not even at the conference- they just heard about it. Impressive, Rebecca. ... read more

Here we go again. Back from another online gaming event full of meetings, dinners, lunches, parties, late nights, and NO SLEEP. None. Ok, fine. Maybe five hours total. Anyway, I’m going to try something new today. I have put together two different stories about my experiences in Amsterdam- one for online gaming affiliates and affiliate programs, and another for Casino City players. If you are an affiliate or affiliate program, you can find the Amsterdam Gossip in the GPWA Times. ... read more

Surprise! What do you think of the new Online Casino City Times newsletter? Do you like? It is a pretty hectic time over here between the launch of our new and improved newsletter, the launch of our GPWA Times magazine, and preparation for the big Casino Affiliate Convention in Amsterdam next week. Yes, Amsterdam. How many places are there in this world where it is completely acceptable to smoke the weed in front of your CEO and all your clients? Not many, my friends. ... read more

You would think I would have learned by now...but no...I took the bus from Boston to NYC. Again. But this time it was a living nightmare, and here is why: 1)Every seat was taken, and of course, I was jammed up against the window next to a guy that smelled weird and kept falling asleep while inv ... read more

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. So true. What a glorious city. Even though I'm not going to reveal many details from my Vegas weekend experience, I will tell you that I refrained from marrying my Swedish Poker Host man, even though I sort of wanted to. I will also tell you that we went Sap ... read more

I am going straight to hell. Why? Because I am flying to Vegas on Good Friday and returning on Easter Monday. Club Light on Easter Sunday! These are things that are probably not OK with the Catholic religion. Whoops. Oh well, what can you do. Anyway, for the first time in a while, this trip to ... read more

San Francisco has got to be one of my all time favorite cities in the world. Where else can you go for a five mile run and pass through a Spanish neighborhood, a very, very, very gay neighborhood and a hippie dreadlock neighborhood? Nowhere! Incredible. St. Patrick's Day weekend in Boston is brutal, especially when you live in Irish filled South Boston. I went out to celebrate on Saturday night, but the South Boston St. Patrick's Day parade was held on Sunday even though Saturday was the actual holiday. Yea. That totally makes sense. It is 10 degrees outside. Fahrenheit. Can someone remind me why I live in Boston? PLEASE? Ok, you're right. It's because of the New England Patriots.
