St. Patrick's Day weekend in Boston is brutal, especially when you live in Irish filled South Boston. I went out to celebrate on Saturday night, but the South Boston St. Patrick's Day parade was held on Sunday even though Saturday was the actual holiday. Yea. That totally makes sense. My original plan was watch the parade and call it a day, but no, I got roped into house party hopping, jell-o shots, green beer, dancing in random people's living rooms...I know, it just sort of happened. Monday at the office was not OK. You know what else is not OK? I received a flyer in the mail from our electric company informing us that they need to turn off the power from 1am until 10am for maintenance work. They apologized in advance for any inconvenience. Apologized for any inconvenience? Sure, I don't mind. It's no problem that my alarm clock will not work, I use cannot use any appliances in the morning, or I don't know, SEE ANYTHING when I walk around my house before the sun comes up. What a joke. So much for living in a first world country.
Clearly I need a break from Boston. Maybe you need a break from your city as well, so here is an idea for you. Take a look at the High Roller Casino Tour that the Belle Rock Entertainment has put together for their players. The High Roller Casino Tour is a 14 night, seven destination tour across Europe including five star accommodations and spending money. The tour includes stops in London, Paris, Marbella, Monaco, Vienna, Milan and Athens. Are you kidding me? Amazing! To participate in the promo, open up an account at River Belle, Lucky Nugget, Jackpot City and/or The Gaming Club, opt into the promotion, and wager $2000 for an entry. All players have from now until May 6th to enter the promotion, so get started now and good luck!
