Republican state enterprise on the right of business "Kazakhstan interbank settlement center of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan" (hereinafter KISC) was established by a decision of the National Bank of 30.12.95g. ?252 in accordance with the program of reforming the banking system of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Founder and authorized body KISC is the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
KISC is an independent economic entity, non-banking financial institution. The main activity is the KISC interbank payments and money transfers through the interbank money transfer system and the system of retail payments. Fees for services provided to clients, is the main source of income KISC.
KISC is engaged in the following activities:
-interbank payments and money transfers and interbank clearing in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
-maintaining the performance of software and hardware to ensure the smooth functioning of KISC;
-addressing issues related to security of payment systems, the availability of appropriate hardware and software;
-provision of secure information sharing, and guaranteed delivery of messages through information channels data payment systems;
-certification of compliance with the public key digital signature private key digital signature, as well as assurance of the registration certificate;
-realization users KISC cryptographic protection of information, their use and storage;
-implementation of activities related to the use, distribution, and authentication of cryptographic keys;
-organization and operation of retail payment systems.
