PokerStars Sunday Million to celebrate sixth anniversary

(PRESS RELEASE) -- If $1 million a week isn’t enough to get excited about, then how about the PokerStars.eu Sunday Million 6th Anniversary tournament, which was announced yesterday (Wednesday) and is taking place on March 11 at 14.30 ET (20.30 CET).It features a $6 million guaranteed prize pool, with $1 million for first place and the same $215 buy-in. Last year’s anniversary tourney was won by ‘Bdbeatslayer’ for $671,093. He topped the 59,128 players who competed for a share of the $11,825,600 prize pool.
Since the PokerStars Sunday Million started in 2006 there have been 278 tournaments, 2,116,513 entries, and prize pools totaling $444,149,600.
