Professional and amateur sports leagues have been worried about the integrity of their respective games becoming corrupted, but now they are looking to come to an agreement to receive a percentage of the money gambled on games within the leagues. 3. Resorts World Catskills celebrates Grand Opening of integrated resort destination
Before sports betting took over the casino news Monday, Resorts World Catskills had the Grand Opening of its integrated resort last weekend.
It was an eventful weekend for the New York casino, with performances by Jerry Seinfeld and Cirque du Soleil-style acrobats. Several VIP guests attended the weekend for the momentous occasion, as well.
After their big weekend opening, the casino is also prepared to move along with the legalization of sports betting.

2. Indiana man wins $1 million at M Resort slot tournament
It’s always a plus to see or hear about someone winning big money at the slots. At the fifth annual Marquee Millionaire Slot Tournament at M Resort in Las Vegas, Richard Ideker took home $1 million after ending up with the highest cumulative score.
Congrats to Mr. Ideker on his million-dollar winnings. Maybe one day that will happen to one of us, but that’s a story for a different day.
