BetMGM announces online casino tournament

(PRESS RELEASE) -- BetMGM announced today the launch of the first online casino tournament to be hosted across the gaming giant’s three major New Jersey casino gaming brands, BetMGM Casino NJ, Borgata Online Casino and PartyCasino. The ‘Casino Super Series’ will run from 10 August through 27 September and features multiple player leaderboard tournaments across slot games, table games and live dealer tables. The series has a prize pool totaling over $1.5 million, making it New Jersey’s largest online networked gaming prize pool.

“We’re excited to bring these three well known gaming brands together to offer the biggest online gaming tournament New Jersey has ever seen,” said Matthew Sunderland, Vice President, Gaming for BetMGM. “There really is something for every type of casino player in the ‘Casino Super Series’.”

The series will run for seven weeks with over $1.5 million in prizes being dispersed over the course of the tournament. A $500,000 overall leaderboard will track the entire prize pool, along with awarding one lucky winner the championship prize of $250,000. In addition, weekly $125,000 leaderboards will award the top player $50,000 each week of the tournament. Players will have access to 250,000 free spins and a weekly “Slot in the Spotlight” highlighting featured games from the top slot makers in the country.
