XXL Club Casino reverses position, bans U.S. players

17 Oct 2006

We deeply regret to announce that we shall be discontinuing service for US players at XXL Club Casino effective on the 17th of October, 2006, 5pm GMT.

Initially, and as per our previous statement, we were confident in maintaining operations for our US players after the passage of the "SAFE Port Act HR 4954" on September 30, 2006 by the U.S. Senate due to neither having any US assets nor US citizens as board members.

However, given the development during the preceding week, including but not limited to, the unfavorable view of payment processors, financial institutions as well as our software provider regarding online gambling in the US, we have been forced to cease activities and comply with this prohibitionist legislation.

We strongly believe XXL Club Casino is different and offers the one and only 5 star service players can expect from an online casino.

It has been our pleasure to provide this supreme service to our loyal US players and it is with deep regret and sadness that we today need to stop providing our service and unmatched entertainment to them. We will be closely monitoring the US gambling market and law enforcement, should we see any viable and reasonable possibility to re-open our casino to US players we will be more than happy to welcome our US customers back!

We once again would like to thank you for your loyalty to XXL Club Casino and sincerely apologize for being forced to take this measure against our will and your freedom of choice.

We will notify all our US players when we are able to re-open our casino to US citizens.
