WSOP Main Event kicks off tomorrow

The $10,000 buy-in freeze out format No-Limit Hold’em poker tournament will feature players from more than 75 countries competing to become poker’s reigning world champion and claim the prestigious WSOP gold bracelet along with the expected $8 million+ top prize. The prize pool is expected to eclipse $70 million.

The World Series of Poker is the gaming industry’s premier event – this year celebrating its 50th year -- drawing tens of thousands of poker enthusiasts from around the globe to Las Vegas to compete for millions in prize money and the game’s most coveted trophy – a World Series of Poker Champion’s Bracelet.

Reigning champion John Cynn will do the honorary Shuffle Up and Deal to kick the event off in the Amazon Room at Rio at 12 noon Wednesday.
