William Hill's odds for Manchester United

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Mauricio Pochettino is the 6/4 favorite to be the Manchester United manager on the first day of next season with current caretaker, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the 5/2 second favorite with William Hill Sportsbook & Racebook.

As for who punters are backing, however, 17.4% of all wagers placed on the market have been for Zinedine Zidane, who is the 6/1 third favorite. Solskjaer has attracted 16.4% of all bets with Laurent Blanc having attracted 8.1%. Two managers have attracted just one bet each – Sean Dyche at 33/1 and Marcelo Bielsa at 50/1.

“Pochettino’s odds have been short since the market was released the other day which may explain why, despite the fact that he is favorite, he has only attracted 7% of all bets,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “We think that this market will run for some time yet, however, with Solskjaer probably becoming favorite should he guide United up the table.”
