William Hill waits for details on State's gambling reform

DUBLIN, Ireland -- William Hill is waiting to hear the Irish government's stance on gambling reform before making any decisions on its shops, The Irish Times reported.
William Hill owns 36 retail stores in Ireland, 14 of them closed in 2009 and profits fell 9 per cent in 2009, the report said.
William Hill are hoping the Irish government will permit the introduction of fixed-odds terminals into betting shops, The Irish Times report noted.
