William Hill to close 109 shops, cites betting tax increase

LONDON, England -- William Hill will close down 109 shops, The Guardian reported.

The company says the increase in betting tax on Fixed Odds Betting Terminals have caused the closures, the report said.

420 jobs will be lost in 2015 as a result of the shop closures, The Guardian report said.
