William Hill Poker revamps software

To make playing online poker with William Hill a rewarding experience, they have been adding new tools and fuctions for all players.
The biggest change recently has been the new look of the poker tables. These have been designed to give players a greater experience. Players can now adjust table sizing to tile and cascade multiple tables and William Hill has added the ability for them to play on more than one monitor at a time.

New Look Table and Player's Status
William Hill has made it easier to identify players' status with features such as the flashing avatar when its someone's hand, plus new backgrounds, borders and shading. There's plenty more including:
- Player must make a move – flashing avatar
- Player's timebank activated – avatar turns blue with countdown
- Player has bet, folded, called, raised – avatar turns blue with status
- Dealer's Area Has Been Added - the chip tray was added on top of the table.
Table View Size
Players can now increase and decrease the size of the table, from small - which is perfect for playing on multiple tables, up to the maximum full size - allowing players to concentrate on the game at hand.
Spotlight
The spotlight feature shows the seated players whose turn it is to make a move. If there are players sitting out, or if there is a break in the game, the spotlight will skip to the next player.
Player's Chat
The player's chat functionality has been improved and incorporated in a side toolbar to access the chat commentary, player's notes, relevant statistics, hand history and settings.
These can be accessed from the icons in the left-side navigation:
The chosen feature will show the selection as a highlighted and different color.
Players can choose to minimize or maximize the chat window by clicking on the small arrows located in the right hand side of the chat window. Players can also close the chat box by clicking on the [X] or by clicking on the collapsed icons.
In addition to the chat text, players can now also add emoticons from a pre-defined list.
Player's Statistics
To open the statistics window, click the Stats icon in the player chat toolbar.
The available statistics (for Texas Holde'm and Omaha) include:
- Hands played
- Flops seen
- Flops seen from blind
- Pots won without showdown
- Went to showdown
- Won at showdown
- Hands played
- 4th streets seen
- 5th streets seen
- 6th streets seen
- Pots won without showdown
- Won at showdown
Player's Notes
This window can be accessed in the following ways:
- Right mouse click on the selected player's avatar - The player's nickname will appear in the dropdown list.
- Right click on the player's nametag.
- Directly from the chat box by clicking the notes icon.
Note: To view the accumulated WH Points from a current session, click your own nickname from the drop down list.
Player Notes Tooltip Has Been Added
Player Notes are now also shown on mouse over on the note icon next to the Player's avatar.
New Position and Look of the Total Pot
On mouse over on the pot area, a tooltip is displayed with the pot amount and the rake amount if the rake is different from 0.
Waiting List Button Has Been Split into Two Buttons
Join waiting list button – Clicking this button will right away put the player on the waiting list for this table specifically.
Join similar table - Clicking this button opens a Join Waiting List for Similar Table pop-up. Also, the checkboxes and radio buttons and drop-down lists are pre-populated according to the current table.
The number of waiting players is moved below the buttons.
Myself Timer Position and Visuals Have Been Changed
To improve the visibility of player's own time to act, the myself timer position and visuals have been changed. The timer is now displayed in the nametag area instead of the nickname. The whole nametag area is blinking when it's player's time to act.
Folded Cards Visualization Has Been Changed
Folded cards appear transparent and are displayed on mouse-over on the avatar area.
Nametag Look Has Been Enhanced
To improve the visibility of players' nicknames and balances and to clear the table clutter, the player's nametags positions have been changed and moved away from the table. In addition, these areas where surrounded by border and appear on a contrasting background.
Player's WHPoints Information Has Been Added
The amount of WHPoints the player has accumulated during the session can now also be displayed on the table under Previous and Current hands.
Hand Strength Position Has Been Changed
The position of the hand strength has been changed as shown on the screenshot below:
All-in Odds Position Has Been Changed
All-in odds appear now in the nametag area on two rows.
