Virginia Lottery releases July 2026 sports wagering activity report

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Virginia Lottery today released its report on sports wagering activity submitted by licensed operators for the month of July 2026.Between 1-31 July 2026, Virginians wagered $609,159,470. A complete list of all approved operators can be found under the “approvals” tab. For July, eleven mobile operators and three casinos were authorized to accept wagers in Virginia.
Virginia bettors won a total of $549,773,796 for a combined 9.75% operators win percentage.
State law places a 15% tax on sports betting activity based on each permit holder’s adjusted gross revenue, which is defined as total wagers minus total winnings and other authorized deductions.
