Viejas Casino wins website award

Viejas Casino was chosen for this year's WebAward to honor the creativity and effectiveness of its casino web site, Viejas.com, overall one of the best web sites on the internet today and one which all web sites should emulate.

"On behalf of the Viejas Web Marketing Department I would like to thank the Web Marketing Association for this honor," said Jen Mattuchio, Viejas E-Marketing Coordinator. "We are extremely honored to receive this prestigious award. Our team works very hard to produce an attractive, informative and easy-to-use web site, and it is gratifying to receive this recognition from the association."

The judging process for this award is very thorough and is based upon a list of seven criteria: design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting and ease of use. There are four levels of web awards – Best Web Site of Show, Best Web Site of Industry, Outstanding Web Site and Standard of Excellence - each being different from one another and each needing a certain specialty to get recognized by the Web Marketing Association.

The Web Marketing Association was founded in 1997 to raise the standard of web marketing, and has turned into the premiere international annual web site award competition.
