Videoslots to integrate 3-D poker into its offering

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Leading online casino operator Videoslots is to launch a 3-D poker product after the acquisition of technology assets from the PKR estate, which went into administration earlier this year.

The deal supplies Videoslots with PKR's PC, Mac, iOS and Android clients and will form the basis of its poker product to be launched next year.

Videoslots' players will initially be able to access the product on a downloadable application for PC, with a mobile and web version to be developed soon after.

PKR's 3-D poker was unique to the poker industry on its launch, with players able to create personalized 3-D avatars within the interface and visualize the poker game in a realistic environment.

Alexander Stevendahl, CEO at Videoslots, said, "The purchase of PKR's unique 3-D poker clients provides us with the platform to introduce a proven poker product to our customers.

"Videoslots has led the way in shaping the online casino sector in recent years, and we will be looking to offer the same innovative experience with our poker product."

This rebranded poker offering will add to Videoslots' existing product offering, which currently consists of almost 2,300 slots and table games.

It will also complement its Battle of Slots product, which allows players to compete against one another in poker-style lobbies.
