VCAT to License Mariposa Data Warehouse to IGT

SAN DIEGO, California -- (Press Release) -- Venture Catalyst Incorporated ("VCAT") (OTCBB: VCAT), announced today that it has entered into an agreement to license VCAT's Mariposa data warehouse solution to IGT. Under the terms of the license agreement, IGT's use of the license and payment of a license fee only arises upon certain conditions of the agreement being met.

"We are excited about growing our relationship with IGT, a world leader in the gaming industry," said Greg Shay, VCAT President and Chief Operating Officer. Shay continued, "We are looking forward to a mutually beneficial business relationship."

Mariposa works in conjunction with existing player tracking and other data systems and consists of a modular suite of applications, including a data warehouse with business analytics and predictive modeling capabilities. Mariposa was initially tested at the Barona Casino, VCAT's premier client, and was later installed at the Barona Tribe's new destination resort, the Barona Valley Ranch Resort & Casino. The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino was the first Las Vegas property to license Mariposa.
