UK Panel: MGM Mirage Broke Rules

LONDON – As reported by Reuters:"Britain's Takeover Panel said on Tuesday that MGM Mirage (NYSE:MGG) was in breach of its rules when the U.S. casino firm said earlier that it might improve its offer for British gaming firm Wembley Plc (London:WMY.L).

"'MGM Mirage has confirmed to the (Takeover Panel's) Executive that there can be no certainty that an increased offer will ultimately be made,' the Panel said in a statement…"
