UK Gambling Act faces court challenge

LONDON, England -- The UK Gambling (Licensing and Advertising) Act 2014 is facing a high court challenge from Gibraltar, Pokerfuse reported.The Gibraltar Betting and Gaming Association (GBGA) has argued the act is unlawful, the report said.
Implementation of the Act which will affect remote operators and require them to be licensed in the UK will now be delayed until November 1, 2014 pending court challenge outcome, Pokerfuse said.
