Two tickets match Match 6
Pennsylvania Lottery officials cannot announce the identity of Tuesday's Match 6 jackpot winner until a prize has been claimed and a ticket validated. The Pennsylvania Lottery encourages the holder of a winning ticket to sign the back of the ticket, contact a financial adviser, and then contact Pennsylvania Lottery Headquarters, (717) 702-8146.
Match 6 jackpots must be claimed by presenting a winning ticket at Pennsylvania Lottery Headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County, or at any of the Lottery's seven regional offices located throughout the Commonwealth. Claims may be filed at Headquarters Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., and from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at regional Lottery offices.
The Match 6 jackpot returns to an estimated $500,000 for the Friday, May 23, drawing. Live, televised Match 6 drawings are conducted every Tuesday and Friday at 7 p.m., along with The Daily Number, Big 4, and Cash 5.
How to play Match 6 lotto: Players receive three plays for $2. Players select six numbers from 1 to 49, or they may elect the quick-pick, computer-selection method for the first line of play. The PA Lottery quick-picks an additional two sets of six numbers from one to 49, for each play. This gives each player three lines of six numbers each, for a total of 18 numbers. Match 6 players can match winning numbers on one line or a combination of lines any of 11 different ways to win cash prizes. To win the jackpot -- which starts at $500,000 and grows until it is hit -- players must match all six numbers drawn in a single, horizontal line of play. Odds of winning the jackpot prize are 1-in-4,661,272.3; overall odds of winning any prize are 1-in-5.9.
