Tutankhamen Tomb pays out big at William Hill
(PRESS RELEASE) -- Tutankhamen Tomb is best known for the terror of its curse, but in the case of William Hill Vegas it has landed a fortune for the players of its themed online slot game, Pharaoh's Treasure.
A total of 17 lucky players have shared jackpots totalling £1 million on the game over the course of 2009, with the biggest pot of £188,000 won back in June. One lucky lady player won £75,000 on the 18th December, pushing the year's total over the magic million mark.
Hills spokeswoman Jennie Prest said, "Pharaoh's Treasure is one of our more popular games and this is highlighted by the results players had last year, with seven of the players winning jackpots of more than £50,000 and two over £100,000. Despite the game's theme, I'm sure our winners don't feel like Tutankhamen's Tomb is a curse!"
One lucky player could be set to land a massive £1 million pound windfall, as the Clover Rollover progressive jackpot hit a seven-figure sum over Christmas. The exciting five-line slot, available on the William Hill Bingo site, has been growing since June and will continue to build until it's won.
In November 2008, William Hill client Simon B won what was believed to be a record online slot jackpot when scooping £1.5million on the Clover Rollover game. The jackpot currently stands at £1,147,000 and there is every chance there could be another record payout when it is won.
