Top 10 new online slot games for winter 2018

As 2018 comes to a close, online slot and game providers continue to unveil new slot games — including a few holiday-themed games.

Below is our list of the top new online slot game releases from the last few months:

10. Primal Megaways
Set in the Stone Age, U.K.-based Blueprint Gaming's latest release sees players battle with a variety of prehistoric animals to trigger big wins and unlock free spins.

Three or more bonus symbols activate the Primal bonus free spins round, where players can enter with up to 30 free spins and win more during the bonus game. Win multipliers are gained per spin in this primordial adventure, with the opportunity of landing numerous multipliers on each spin.

The innovative Replay Guarantee feature is activated when players win less than 10x stake in free spins, with winnings carried over and the free spins replayed.

9. The Goonies

The game is set in the "Goon Docks" and sees the iconic gang reunited as they follow an old Spanish map to unearth the long-lost fortune of One-Eyed Willy, a legendary 17th century pirate.

8. Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?
Online slot developer Big Time Gaming designed and developed one of the most anticipated branded slots games of the year, based on Sony Pictures Television’s hit game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?.

The game debuted at G2E Las Vegas in October, and will be packed with the same math and mechanics in Big Time Gaming’s latest slot release, Starburst.

LeoVegas bagged the exclusive launch on 18 November, and the slot game will be unleashed simultaneously via the Scientific Games and Microgaming networks.

7. Happiest Christmas Tree
Habanero is unwrapping the ultimate present this holiday season with the release of Happiest Christmas Tree.

Three Christmas tree wilds on the screen in this omnichannel offering unlock free spins in a special festive bonus round.

iGaming supplier Yggdrasil released its first ever branded slot, Nitro Circus, an adrenaline-fueled game featuring Nitro Circus’ biggest stars, greatest stunts and craziest vehicles.

Nitro Circus is led by the legendary action sports athlete, motorsports competitor and stunt daredevil Travis Pastrana.

Yggdrasil’s exclusive Nitro Circus slot brings the action of the arena to online casinos. The standout feature of the game is the unique Nitro Jump, which is inspired by the 15-meter Giganta Ramp seen in Nitro Circus’ live shows. In the game, the Nitro Jump allows players to choose their risk level and hit the ramp chasing big stunts and even bigger wins.

On 15 November, casino supplier Play’n GO announced the release of Dragon Maiden, an epic slot adventure "full of flame and fortune."

This new slot centers on Geneth the Dragon Maiden, a legendary warrior who is the key to conquering the fearsome Red Dragon, unlocking its awesome power and the untold riches it guards.

It features high-quality graphics for both the character and the visual animations for the titular dragon, as well as the symbols on the reels.
