Here, we take a look at 10 openings and expansions that have taken place or been discussed since our last edition.
10. Penthouse suites at The Cosmo
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas’ Chelsea Tower debuted a new vision for its 24 penthouse suites and 14 entourage rooms spanning two dedicated floors. Guests can now enjoy dedicated butler service, offering personalized, around-the-clock attention.
Starting at 1,900 square feet and available in two-three and four-bedroom configurations, each penthouse has been meticulously designed to create an elevated experience.
9. Cliff Castle Casino adds slots and games
In September, Cliff Castle Casino Hotel in Arizona raised the stakes for gamers with the addition of new slot machines and table games.

8. Green Valley Ranch Poker Room
Station Casinos announced the return of the Poker Room at Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa and Casino in Las Vegas, set to debut by the end of 2025.
The resort, which is undergoing a $200 million room, suite and meeting and conventions remodel, will enhance the casino floor offerings with the poker room returning to its original location offering 16 new tables and chairs, an upgraded audio/visual package and will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
To celebrate, guests can expect a grand opening poker tournament, a “Mystery Cash Splash,” featuring envelopes in a drum ranging from $50 to $1,000 and all the signature Station Casinos programming including the Jumbo Hold’em Bad Beat Jackpot, Station Casinos’ Freeroll, Football Frenzy promotion on football game days and 24/7 High Hands.
The poker room will also spread a wide variety of games to fit every style, including 4/8, 6/12, and 8/16 Limit Hold’em, 1/2, 2/3, and 3/5 No Limit Hold’em, Time Rake Hold’em games, Pot Limit Omaha, and 4/8, 6/12, and 8/16 Omaha Hi/Lo, plus more to come.

7. Golden Nugget DraftKings Sportsbook
Golden Nugget - Cripple Creek in Colorado celebrated the opening of its DraftKings retail sportsbook space on Saturday.
The DraftKings Sportsbook at Golden Nugget Cripple Creek spans 1,135 square feet. The sportsbook features 12 large-screen TVs throughout, and includes DraftKings sports betting kiosks, along with a food and beverage menu packed with gameday favorites.
The sports betting kiosks includes many of the same features available on the DraftKings Sportsbook app, allowing guests to place bets, as well as providing access to Same Game Parlays, prop bets and an array of in-play betting options.
6. Tropicana Atlantic City’s Solana Tower
In mid-October, Tropicana Atlantic City announced that the newly renovated Solana Tower was accepting reservations, with the first guest stays beginning in January 2026.
The Solana Tower, located in the resort’s west wing, underwent an extensive transformation, reimagining 598 rooms and suites with a coastal-inspired design.
“We’re excited to welcome guests to the all-new Solana Tower starting in January,” said Joseph Giunta, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Tropicana Atlantic City. “This renovation represents the next chapter for Tropicana, one that reflects the vibrant energy of Atlantic City while delivering a refreshed, comfortable escape for every kind of traveler.”
5. Catawba Two Kings Casino
The Catawba Nation and its partners in the development of a $1 billion casino and hotel near Charlotte celebrated a construction milestone on 27 October with a ceremonial beam placed atop Catawba Two Kings Casino Resort's permanent casino.
The project’s introductory casino phase remains on target to open in spring 2026. The introductory casino will include 1,350 slot machines, 22 table games, a 68-seat restaurant, an 18-seat bar, sports betting kiosks and Lucky North Rewards desk.
It will replace the current temporary casino, after opening in July 2021.
4. Delaware’s largest outdoor slot patio
On 15 October, Delaware Park Casino & Racing officially began welcoming guests into its new 10,000-square-foot, $5 million outdoor slot patio.
Now the largest outdoor gaming space in Delaware, the slot patio offers over 250 slot machines, pushing the casino’s number of slot machine offerings to nearly 1,900.
While smoking is permitted on the outdoor slot patio, all indoor spaces at Delaware Park Casino remain completely smoke-free environments.

3. Spielbank Rostock grand opening
The Spielbank Rostock officially opened its doors on 16 October with a celebration that marked a new chapter for entertainment in northern Germany.
It is the only casino in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to combine classic table games and modern electronic gaming. Guests can enjoy four roulette tables, two blackjack and two poker tables, as well as a modern gaming floor of more than 1,300 square meters featuring around 130 electronic gaming terminals.
2. Bally’s Las Vegas vision
Toward the end of September, Bally’s Corporation announced plans for Bally’s Las Vegas, a new entertainment resort destination set to rise on the iconic Las Vegas Strip at the former site of the Tropicana Las Vegas.
The project will share a 35-acre campus with the new Las Vegas Athletics Major League Baseball ballpark. The project is being submitted for entitlements to Clark County and is expected to commence development in the first half of 2026.
Bally's Las Vegas will feature two hotel towers totaling 3,000 rooms, an entertainment venue with a seating capacity of 2,500, and more than 500,000 square feet of retail, dining, and entertainment offerings. The resort will also include a casino and a VIP experience with direct access to the ballpark.

1. Hard Rock Casino Tejon
In the first week of October, Hard Rock International, in partnership with the Tejon Indian Tribe, announced that Hard Rock Tejon in California will officially open 13 November.
When the doors open, guests will experience a 150,000-square-foot gaming floor featuring more than 2,000 slot machines, over 50 live table games including blackjack, Ultimate Texas Hold’em and Three Card Poker, and exclusive VIP rooms for blackjack and baccarat.
The property will also showcase a collection of authentic music memorabilia, telling the stories of iconic artists and infusing the property with Hard Rock’s energy.
Dining and nightlife will feature the world-renowned Hard Rock Cafe, Deep Cut Steaks | Seafood and YOUYU, alongside a Marketplace Food Hall with diverse options including artisanal coffee and pastries, street tacos, Southern comfort favorites and wood-fired Italian classics. The property will also include a Rock Shop offering exclusive Hard Rock merchandise.
