Resorts World Catskills is the first to bring the Crystal Life Spa, the only feng shui-inspired spa at sea, to land. In addition to the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the grand opening of the spa, the day included a speaking engagement from skincare and holistic wellness expert Ling Chan. 9. The Book at The LINQ With the NFL season kicking off over the weekend, it is perfect timing for The LINQ Hotel & Casino to debut its new sportsbook on the Las Vegas Strip. In addition to a new race and sports betting desk, The Book features 87 televisions and 12 Fan Caves. The Fan Caves are rentable living rooms for guests and their friends to enjoy on game day, featuring 98-inch guest-controlled televisions, Xboxes, virtual reality goggles, bottle and drink service and more. The Book will also feature a self-serve beer wall with 24 taps, including lagers and IPAs; leaderboards where you can prove your sports betting prowess; and other games to challenge friends or to make new ones. 8. New spa at Hard Rock Atlantic City - Atlantic City The new property on the Atlantic City Boardwalk is now offering guests a rock-star vibe at the newly opened Rock Spa & Salon. The grand opening took place on 30 August and featured an evening reception with the 51 Miss America candidates, who had begun their competition in Atlantic City earlier that day. The spa features 31 newly designed treatment rooms, which include 20 dedicated massage rooms, four facial rooms, two couples’ suites, three body treatment rooms and two Rhythm & Motion rooms; and a full-service salon, including manicures, pedicures, make-up, and barber and hair services. Rock Spa & Salon offers a variety of full-body treatments and massages including deep tissue, romantic couples’ experiences, and athletic and therapeutic restoration needs. Whether it's a girlfriends' getaway, a bridal party or just a desire to spa like a Rock Star, the private VIP spa suite is perfect for small groups. 7. M Resort opens first Topgolf Swing Suite in Las Vegas The Las Vegas resort is teaming up with Topgolf Swing Suite to bring the virtual gaming experience to Las Vegas. M Resort will debut a two-bay Topgolf Swing Suite on 1 September that allows guests to play in a temperature-controlled room with lounge seating. Guests can enjoy various golf and multi-sport games, including the TopContender, modeled after Topgolf’s signature game, which tracks shot accuracy while awarding players points for hitting targets. They also have the option to take the mound and pitch against a team of zombies, or test their skills by playing some of the world’s best golf courses, such as St. Andrews, Gleneagles, Torrey Pines and Pebble Beach. Located across from Baby Cakes Artisan Bakery, Topgolf Swing Suite’s food and drink menu will feature burgers, pizza, craft beer, specialty cocktails and milkshakes. M Resort’s Top Golf Swing Suite will be open until 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. 6.
