Titan Poker tournament sees huge field
In the first ECOOP event, a $200 + $15 No Limit Hold'em event staged November 30, 1,049 players participated, driving up the total prizes awarded to $209,800, zwell above the $150,000 guaranteed prize pool. The event was won by majstorex, a Titan Poker player from Slovenia.
ECOOP #2, a $100,000 guaranteed Omaha Hi/Lo event staged on December 1, 540 players vied for the $23,000 first prize. The winner of the tournament was BSinclar, a Titan Poker player from France.
Prizes awarded at ECOOP #3 totaled $372,750, again surpassing the guaranteed prize pool. 1,491 players were in the running, with Addict1968, a player from the Netherlands, taking home the first prize of over $78,000.
The ECOOP's second Omaha event, a Pot Limit tournament with Re-buys, was staged on December 3. 672 players participated in the tournament, increasing the payout to $120,200. The event was won by player LuckyPlayCoolie.
ECOOP tournaments will continue nightly until the final event on December 9, which will carry a $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. Satellites and qualifier tournaments are being staged round the clock at Titan Poker. The guaranteed prize pool for all ECOOP tournaments is set at $2,500,000, but with the huge participation in the series, prizes are expected to be much higher.
The ECOOP is just the latest of a long string of innovative promotions run by Titan Poker.
