29 Apr 2008

ANILA -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Titan Poker, the largest poker room on the iPoker Network, is currently staging a Super Satellite Series, offering players a chance to win seats at the land-based Asian Poker Tour (APT) Manila tournament, which will be staged at the Dusit Thani Manila hotel in Makati from May 27th through June 1st, 2008.

Participants in the Manila tournament will compete for an unprecedented One Million Dollar prize pool, the largest ever offered in Asia.

Winners of the Super Satellites, continuing every week through May 12th, will receive a prize package worth $6,000, including buy-in to the Asian Poker Tour Main Event and money for flights and spending. Titan Poker will reward four packages to Manila at every Super Satellite.

The popularity of poker in Asia is growing rapidly and APT tournament officials expect to attract at least 400 poker players, amateurs and top professionals, from around the world.

Manila is the first stop of the 2008 Asian Poker Tour. After Manila the tour continues in South Korea, Macau, and Singapore.

Titan Poker is sponsoring the Eurocity Poker Tour Madrid Open this May and has sent players to the Aussie Millions and various European Poker Tour events. In addition to awarding players seats to the World Poker Showdown in the Dominican Republic in May, Titan Poker will host the European Championship of Online Poker II (ECOOP) where skilled poker players will compete for a share of $3,600,000 dollars.
