Time is running out for players to get SCOOP value
15 May 2018
Players looking for a cheaper route to the table can go to PokerStars School for free SCOOP tickets or play an exclusive SCOOP Spin & Go. Once a player secures their SCOOP ticket, they will be automatically entered into an All-in Shootout on 23 May at 3 p.m., which will award a Platinum Pass worth $30,000. Players can also buy in directly to one of the remaining 23 SCOOP events to receive entry into the Shootout. To date, 25 players have won passes via All-in Shootouts.
SCOOP 2018 boasts the biggest ever series guarantee for any PokerStars series, with a $65 million overall guarantee as well as $150,000 worth of coveted Platinum Passes.
For players looking to enhance their performance in SCOOP, and at the tables in general, there is a wealth of free courses, articles and videos at PokerStars School. To celebrate SCOOP, PokerStars School is also giving away 15 $109 SCOOP tickets to the $500,000 guaranteed SCOOP 61-M $109 NLHE (8-Max, Progressive KO) event via their exclusive Mega SCOOP Freebuy tournaments that run on 20 May at 1:10 p.m. and 7:10 p.m.
There are plenty of PokerStars Ambassadors at the SCOOP tables, with some streaming events on their Twitch channels. Lex Veldhuis and Benjamin Spragg got together to discuss preparation for this year’s SCOOP series. Bets can be placed on the odds of these PokerStars Ambassadors going on to win a Platinum Pass in a SCOOP Main Event on Betstars. Further bets can be placed on Platinum Pass winners going on to win the PSPC, such as Peter Brankin, one of the players with the highest value odds at 1000/1.
