Thunderkick granted newly installed Swedish supplier license
29 Mar 2023
Companies must now hold a gaming software permit in order to distribute content in the country, with new regulations expected to come into force on 1 July 2023.
The move marks a significant milestone for the Stockholm-based studio and will allow it to continue providing games to one of its core and top-performing markets.
With player favorites like Dionysus Golden Feast and new titles such as The Wildos available, this market consolidation continues Thunderkick’s mission to provide its portfolio in key regions.
“We’re really pleased to have been selected for a B2B permit,” said Wan Kim, Head of Compliance at Thunderkick. “We look forward to working with the SGA and are thankful to them for a swift and simple process. It’s crucial for us to remain compliant in every market but especially our home one, and we’re excited that we can continue showcasing our games to our fellow Swedes.”
