The Reel Life: "Who's suing who?" edition

The Reel Life loves nothing more than hearing a story about a senior citizen holding their own when someone tries to take advantage of them. But we've never seen anyone with the gall to sue the senior who did nothing other than defend himself.

At least, that is, until today, when we came across this story from Greenbrae, Calif.

According to the Marin Independent Journal, 90-year-old Jay Leone was tied up and was being robbed by 31-year-old meth user Samuel Cutrufelli when he managed to escape. He got a gun and, after being hit by a shot from Cutrufelli in the jaw, returned fire, hitting Cutrufelli.

And THAT'S why he's being sued. For returning fire on a man that had broken into his home, tied him up, attempted to rob him and shot him in the face.

I don't know about you, but the Reel Life thinks that anyone willing to sue someone for that has gotta have some brass.
