The Reel Life: Wanted criminal edition
30 Jan 2014
In Freeland, Pa., 35-year-old Anthony Lescowitch was wanted on charges including aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct stemming from an incident last July.
Now, you'd think if you were wanted for a crime, you'd do your best to stay under the radar. But somehow, Lescowitch thought it would be a good idea to post a "wanted" photo of himself on Facebook, taunting the local police for being unable to find him.
That didn't go as planned. Soon after, an officer pretending to be an attractive woman messaged Lescowitch on Facebook, and offered to meet him for a drink. Lescowitch took the bait and was arrested promptly upon arriving.
The Reel Life is just shaking our heads at this one. First of all, what are the chances that a random attractive woman on Facebook is actually a real person who wants to have a drink with you? Especially when you are a useless wanted criminal?
You just can't teach this kind of stupid. It is an innate artform.
