The Reel Life: Tiger Woods and hot dogs

The Reel Life recently saw the movie "Drive," and it's one of the best films we've seen this year. But the movie did not inspire us to throw a hot dog at Tiger Woods.

A spectator at the Frys.com Open in California disrupted play on Sunday when he snuck onto the field of play and threw a hot dog at the direction of superstar golfer Tiger Woods. The video of the incident can be seen below:



Now what would possess a man to run out on a green and throw a hot dog at arguably the greatest golfer of all-time? According to the Santa Rose Press Democrat, 31-year-old Brandon Kelly said the idea was formed after watching the movie "Drive."

"As soon as the movie ended, I thought to myself, ‘I have to do something courageous and epic," Kelly said. "I have to throw a hot dog on the green in front of Tiger.'"

"Drive" is about a stunt driver who moonlights as a getaway driver. There are no scenes on golf courses and Tiger Woods does not make a cameo. If you can make a connection between “Drive” and Sunday’s incident, well, you have a much deeper mind than we do.
