The Reel Life: Teen driver in the bayou edition

The Reel Life remembers learning to drive. It was probably more stressful for our parents than it was for us. But of course, we didn't learn to drive with a baby in the car.

A Shreveport, La., family had a harrowing experience this week when they decided that it would be a good time for the 14-year-old in the family to learn how to drive in a parking lot. The girl hit the gas, causing the car to slam into another vehicle. Then the airbags deployed, the car jumped the curb and rolled into the bayou.

The Reel Life is happy that everyone was able to safely get out of the car, including a baby who was also riding in the car, but still isn't quite sure why the whole family – especially a baby at 8:30 p.m. – had to be in the car.
