The Reel Life: Stealing a Greyhound edition
29 Dec 2011
According to CBS News, a 39-year-old man stole a Greyhound bus outside of Syracuse, N.Y. and decided to drive to a friend's house on Christmas. Police say Andrew Hickey boarded the vehicle at the Syracuse transportation center because he was cold and the vehicle was running and warm.
That's when Hickey, who has a commercial driver's license, decided to drive the bus to a friend's home. That home was 60 miles away.
Greyhound was able to electronically disable the bus about two hours after it was stolen. The company alerted authorities, who arrested Hickey that day. He is currently in county jail.
The Reel Life had no idea that a company could electronically disable a bus. We'll keep that in mind if we ever decide to hijack a Megabus.

A Bonanza of pounds
Jackpotjoy has revealed another major online slot winner, just in time for the New Year's!
Earlier this month, Leah S scooped £17,567 on the popular Diamond Bonanza game. Asked for her response, Leah claimed 'it hasn't sunk in yet'.
Diamond Bonanza is one Jackpotjoy's more popular online slots, with its straightforward game-play, multi-lines and personalized settings options.
Leah S could not be happier with her win, saying she has 'been playing the game for some time and got the five diamonds before. However it was only a £500 win... When I got it this time, I thought it was going to be the same ... When I checked OMG was I wrong! I had won a bigger Jackpot and so happy for it too!'
