The Reel Life: Improper disposal edition

26 Apr 2018

Two men in Anchorage have made the local news for fighting over how to throw away a water heater.

The main point of contention in the fight seems to be that one dude keeps disposing of his water heater in places other than the dump, and the second dude wants him to take it to the dump already and refuses to do it for him.

The second guy, Chad Winberg, got involved when he found the water heater on his business' property. Since Winberg's business is not the dump, he was understandably less than pleased about this.

Rather than getting suckered into disposing of the heater himself, Winberg checked his security camera footage and returned the heater to the owner's driveway, after spray painting a note on it with red paint.

The water heater was later found leaning against a fence in the neighborhood. When he heard about it, Winberg went out and picked it up — and returned it again to the owner's house, this time with additional spray paint.

It is as yet unknown whether the guy who supposedly wants to throw away his water heater will eventually take the hint and actually throw away his water heater, or if he prefers making his neighbors run around cleaning up after him.

Get in the fast lane, Grandma, this bingo game is ready to roll!

Hockey and basketball playoffs are in full swing, but the real action this weekend is at BingoBilly. The popular online bingo site is running the End of April Slots Tournament from 27-29 April, with $2,250 in total prizes up for grabs.

“Our famous slots tournament is back and we’re excited to end April with some serious payouts,” said Laura Chacon, bingo manager of BingoBilly. “Just remember that to maximize your potential prize, you’ll want to make a deposit before competing on the daily leaderboard.”

The End of April Slots Tournament takes place from Friday, 27 April through Sunday, 29 April. The promotion features three separate slot tourneys with $750 in prizes per day. Players will earn leaderboard points at a rate of one point for every $10 wagered on any online slot.

At the end of each day, BingoBilly will award the top 10 ranked players with prizes as follows: $250 for 1st place; $150 for 2nd place; $100 for 3rd place; $50 each for 4th-6th place; and $25 apiece for 7th-10th place.

Winners who made a deposit on the day of the leaderboard competition will receive 100% of their prize, paid in cash. Those who haven’t made a deposit that day will receive half the awarded prize, paid in bonus.

Players who have yet to sign up for an online bingo account can take advantage of BingoBilly’s $30 free trial bonus. Plus, first time depositors are eligible for progressive bonuses worth up to 600%.
