The Reel Life: El Candigato edition
13 Jun 2013
They don't play nicely together. They don't share. They try to take credit for things they didn't do. And they try to cover up everything they've done wrong. In short, politicians do everything you don't want your children to.
That's why the mayoral race Xalapa, Mexico, caught our attention. Two students have nominated a cat named Morris to run for office. Morris' platform is simple. He's going to get rid of the rats in Xalapa -- which we presume are corrupt politicians (redundancy, we know) -- and rest and have fun like a cat.
That's a platform everyone can get behind. And his candidacy has taken off (and gone viral). Morris, who also goes by the moniker El Candigato, has 108,266 likes of his Facebook page. His closest human competitor, Americo Zuñiga, only has around 30,000 likes on his Facebook page, according to ABC. (When we looked, we couldn't find Zuñiga's Facebook page.)
The mayoral election is July 7, and the Reel Life is rooting for El Candigato to win. If you can't trust a cat to get rid of rats and sleep all day, who can you trust?

Growing up, the Reel Life was fascinated with Greek mythology. We always wondered what it would be like to be Zeus or Hermes. Now a Mcirogaming slot at Lucky247 gives you the chance spin the reels and have fun with some Greek legends. "Stash of the Titans" (in case you're wondering, the movie was "Clash of the Titans") is a five-reel mobile slot that features Medusa, Pegasus and Kraken and other characters from Greek mythology.
Players can get free spins by lining up Medusa's head and they get a 10x multiplier with "Stash of the Titans" Wild symbol.
So if you like you're slots with a side of Greek mythology, head over to Lucky247 and give "Stash of the Titans" a spin.
