The Reel Life: Dwarf tossing edition
6 Oct 2011
According to the Florida Current, Rep. Mitch Workman has filed a bill that would end a state ban on "dwarf-tossing" in bars. Workman, a Republican, said he doesn't condone dwarf-tossing, but doesn't believe the government has a right to prohibit the activity.
"To me it's an archaic kind of Big Brother law that says, 'We don't like that activity,'" Workman said. “Well, there is nothing immoral or illegal about that activity. All we really did by passing that law was take away some employment from some little people."
The law was passed back in the 1980s after the state received some bad national publicity when it was revealed bar owners were encouraging the activity. Those who violate the law can be fined up to $1,000 or lose their liquor license.
The Reel Life is stunned that not only is dwarf-tossing banned in Florida (it would seem that Florida would be the one state that wouldn't ban it), but that it was so prevalent at one time that it would have to be banned.

It’s Greek to me
Greek casino player P. P. had a massive win of €207,116 with the Great Blue slots game last week at Windows Casino. What makes his win even more astounding is that the slot game features no progressive jackpot and the win was due to the very generous Free Spins bonus round.
The aquatic-themed Great Blue slots game has five reels and 20 paylines with adjustable wagers, wilds, scatters, a bonus round and a slots jackpot of 10,000 coins. Players can win up to 33 free spins with 15x multipliers in the free spins round, which is triggered by three or more pearl scatters.
Windows Casino is all set to re-launch three Marvel slots as 50 payline games and these will include The Incredible Hulk slot, Fantastic Four slot machine and Iron Man 2 slot game.
