When the Reel Life was in high school, one of our social studies teachers imparted some important wisdom.

It's a lesson that 37-year-old Ray Allen Charron of Florida would have done well to learn. Charron was arrested last weekend after allegedly stealing a bicycle by pushing the man riding it off, then getting in an altercation with a police officer. When the officer called for backup, Charron fled and climbed a 30-foot tree.

Once he was up there, you'd think he would figure out that there was no escaping the group of policemen waiting for him on the ground pretty darn quick. Instead he spent 11 hours up in the tree before finally coming down to face the music.
