According to reports, Canadian beer company Molson has provided a special beer fridge that requires folks thirsty for a beverage to scan their passports to open. And, of course, the fridge only opens for Canadians. It's some pretty cool viral marketing, if the Reel Life says so ourselves. But let's face facts; Molson is not exactly the pinnacle of quality beer. It's a cheap brew that can be accessed pretty much anywhere. The Canadian beer fridge is cute, but it's not exactly as if they're harboring liquid gold in their Olympic house. Now, if the Germans had a fridge spitting out Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier , that would get us excited. But it would probably also slow them down quite a bit.
