According to WDTN-TV in Dayton, Ohio, Strank wanted to rob a bank last month, and headed to a local Huntington Bank to do the deed. But he suffered from some sort of medical condition before he could pull off the heist, so he approached the counter and asked the bank tellers for a medic.
The bank called 911, and while the medics were on the way, Strank handed a note to the tellers asking for all of their money.
That's right, Strank didn't think the fact he needed the bank to call 911 was enough of a reason to halt his planned robbery. I understand that sticking to a plan is important, but sometimes you just need to call an audible.
Instead, Strank was examined by the medics and handed over to the police.
So let that be a lesson to all of you. If you find yourself in medical distress, call an audible and change your plans -- especially if you're robbing a bank.
