The Reel Life avoids oncoming trains

10 Feb 2011

The Reel Life enjoys taking a nice stroll from time to time to stretch our legs after a marathon slots session. Thankfully we've never been hit by a train, but if we did, we think we'd realize that it had happened.

According to The Star Phoenix, a 29-year-old from Saskatchewan suffered non-life threatening injuries after being struck by a train early Wednesday morning. This being The Reel Life, there has to be a twist. And this twist is this: The man had no idea a train had struck him.

The man was walking on the tracks at around 2 a.m. when he was hit by the train. According to a witness, the man was sent into the air. He then "immediately got up and proceeded to walk," according to the article.

Police caught up with the man a short time later. The victim, who was intoxicated, indicated he had no idea what happened to him, but that he felt pain all over his body. He was then transported to a local hospital.

The Reel Life is grateful that this superhuman is still alive after his near-death experience. And if we ever get struck by a high-powered locomotive, we hope we're so intoxicated that we won't realize what happened, either.

Sink your teeth into this new slot

Adding to their already impressive selection of online casino games and unique slots, EU Casino this week launched a 'fang'tastic new 3D slot game called "Vampires Feast." This is the second in a series of 3D slots to come from the SkillOnNet camp.

When asked about the new game, casino manager Michelle Stevens said, "This game is not for the feint hearted! It's full of realistic sounds, great music and 3D graphics which are sure to send shivers down your spine. You have to try this game but make sure that you're not alone and it's not dark."

There are 20 paylines and a maximum payout of 100,000. This promises to be a game for everyone, high and low rollers alike.

Stevens added, "This game has everything you would associate with vampires: blood, wolves, garlic, silver bullets, bats, coffins and more. There are two bonus games which rely on skill instead of luck so all those budding gamers out there can really clean up."
