The Reel Life

3 Sep 2009

Life is all about making a good first impression. If an online slot or a casino fails to impress us during our first run, The Reel Life will avoid that slot or casino. It's the same when you go on a first date. To say that a Michigan man failed to make a good first impression on his date would be a gross understatement.

According to The Daily Tribune of Royal Oak, Terrence Dejuan McCoy went out on a first date with a woman he met at Greektown Casino. While at a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant, McCoy asked his date to borrow her keys because he said he left his wallet in her car.

McCoy didn't return to the restaurant. Instead, he stole the woman's car while she was still seated at the table.

"'She gave him her keys and he went out the door,' said Ferndale police Detective Sgt. Patrick Jones. 'From where she was sitting she saw him get in her car and he drove off at a high rate of speed.'"

The stolen car turned up two weeks later with the radio missing. It wasn't too difficult for the police to eventually track him down.

"'We were able to identify him because she had a picture of him and we had his cell phone number,' Jones said."

The Reel Life has a hunch that McCoy will not be seeing this woman anytime soon. That's why we always wait until the third date to commit grand theft auto.

Get in the fast lane grandma, the Bingo game is ready to roll!

Life is good at Bodog

James D. of Illinois was able to give himself some summer fun by hitting a major jackpot at Bodog Casino. James took down $56,632 on the Frenzy Fruit slot machine.

So what was James D. playing such a fruity slot? We have no idea, but we are guessing that the big progressive jackpot had something to do with it.

Brad B. of Texas was another lucky winner during the dog days of summer at Bodog. The Texas heat is not joke, but it looks like Brad has enough cash to pay for a vacation or three after winning $34,353 on the Sunken Treasure slot machine. He shouldn't have any problem keeping cool after hitting the jackpot.
