The Reel Life
The Reel Life likes to get away from the online slots sometimes to hit the links. Instead of trying to hit a jackpot, we're trying to win our $2 Nassau. A woman from Great Britain could have used a refresher on the game, especially some of the basic terms.
According to the Daily Mail, 23-year-old Kayti Dryer was passing through customs at Manchester Airport with a set of golf clubs. Dyer told customs that she had taken the clubs to Jamaica on a vacation.
When an official asked Dryer what her handicap was, she drew a blank. Officials then seized the clubs, and found £83,000 worth of cocaine hidden inside the shafts.
An airport source told the Daily Mail that Dryer "clearly did not know what they were talking about and had no idea (handicap) was even a golfing term. It appeared as if she thought they were asking her if she had a disability."
Dryer plead guilty to drug smuggling and began serving a four-year prison sentence this week. The Reel Life plans on sticking to alcohol as our narcotic of choice when we head out to the course this weekend.
