The Reel Life
Money is hard to come by, especially in this economy. The Reel Life hasn't been immune to the recession, as we have been thinking about hitting the online slots a lot less than years past. And as desperate as we are for money sometimes, we couldn't imagine doing what a Massachusetts man did this week.
According to The Boston Globe, a man dressed up as a ninja tried to rob a dry cleaners in the town of Weymouth. The man was wearing a ski mask and a sword in a sheath on his belt.
The Globe says that "a convenience store clerk called police Monday after she noticed (the) man walking into the store." When she confronted him, the man left the store and walked to nearby Galaxy Cleaners. The man "pointed a sword at the register and asked a clerk to give him all of the money." The clerk told him that she couldn't open the drawer and he left. Police are still searching for the man, who appeared to be in his late 20s.
The Reel Life knows that the times are tough, and some people will take drastic measures to put food on the table. So while we don't condone this man's actions, we have to admire his creativity.

Good Friday gets better
Kelly W became Jackpot Joy's latest big Star Jackpot winner when she landed the monster £100,000 Good Friday Star Jackpot!
"It's only just beginning to sink in – I can't believe it was me!" grinned the mother of two from sunny Essex. "I'd bought 15 tickets for the game and left them running while I chatted and played in Bingo Gold.
"To be honest, I was about to go into the Sapphire room to watch the game but I was having so much fun in Gold I decided to stay where I was.
"But then everyone started asking who had won the big jackpot and suddenly I realized it was me! I was so shocked. Everyone was congratulating me and being really lovely."
She's wasted no time making plans for the money – and it sounds like her two kids will be on the receiving end of a present or two!
"I'll be able to do so much with the money – I'm going to spoil my two children something rotten!"
There's really no end to the fun you can have with £100,000 Kelly – congratulations!
