The Reel Life is known to have a drink or two. It doesn't get much better than sitting at a slot machine, cold drink in hand, waiting for a jackpot. And all cold drinks have one essential ingredient: ice.

But at Titusville High School in Central Florida, ice isn't being seen as an ingredient. It's being seen as a weapon. According to Local6.com, school principal Lori Spinner has banned ice after several students began to hurl it during lunch.

"There isn't a need for ice," she said. "We've had a few incidents, and they result in messes in the buildings and the potential for students to slip on the floor."

The Reel Life will be keeping its ice where it belongs: in our glass, and in our mouth. And we have some advice for Ms. Spinner: Spend your time doing something more constructive than banning ice. A three-reel slot is a good place to start.

Big winner had a good feeling
