The PKR Super Series is back in action

LONDON, England -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Next-gen poker site PKR.com has announced the return of its hugely popular online poker festival, The PKR Super Series. This year's Series kicks off on June 26 and features 11 events to be played over a 12-day period offering up more than $230,000 in guaranteed prize money.

The 2009 Super Series schedule has been designed to offer something for everyone. From a six-seater deep stack to pot-limit Omaha bounty tournaments, all tournament disciplines will be covered during the twelve day poker-fest. The highlight of the series will be the $100,000 guaranteed PKR Masters, but this year also sees the addition of a new PLO Hi/Lo competition to the roster, offering up a cool $3,000 guaranteed prize pool for just a $12 buy-in.

The winner of each event also gets their hands on a unique Super Series 2009 Winner's bracelet, giving triumphant players a Vegas-style memento of their victory as well as the cash prize and bragging rights.
