Thai official wants lottery law delayed

THAILAND – As reported by the Bangkok Post: "National Legislative Assembly member Chamlong Srimuang handed a letter to Prime Minister Surayud Chulanont this afternoon, asking him to slow down the process to make two- and three-digit lottery operations lawful.
"…The cabinet yesterday agreed to amend the Government Lottery Office (GLO) bill to enable the GLO to operate the scheme legitimately.
"Government plans to propose the draft amendment to the NLA next Wednesday…"
