Taiwanese gambling website busted

TAIWAN -- As reported by the China Post: "Prosecutors and police yesterday uncovered Taiwan's biggest-ever online gambling website, which allegedly recorded total 'revenues' of over NT$1.5 billion within half a year, and found police officers were involved in the scam, according to Panchiao District Prosecutor's Office.
"Prosecutors and 120 police officers raided 18 offices and residences of 12 members of the online gambling ring, including Huang Ping-chia, a police officer of the Danshui Precinct in Taipei County, and a criminal investigation policeman, surnamed Liu, of the Taipei County, seeking to collect relevant evidence against their illegal activities..."
