Tabcorp to Bid on Singapore Casino
SINGAPORE – As reported by the Dow Jones: "Australian gaming company Tabcorp Holdings Ltd. (TAH.AU) Tuesday said it will team up with cruise operator P&O Princess Cruises International Ltd. to bid for Singapore's proposed casino resorts.
"Tabcorp signed a memorandum of understanding with P&O to explore sales and marketing opportunities in Australia and Singapore as part of the integrated resort project in Singapore. Tabcorp added that it is also open to partnering with other local or foreign companies.
"…Its bid for the casino project marks Tabcorp's first overseas foray, Tabcorp Chief Executive Matthew Slatter said, adding that it aims to make Singapore its Asian base.
