Svenska Spel stops play at Division 2 Sodra Svealand

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Svenska Spel Sport & Casino decided to permanently stop all games in Division 2 Södra Svealand.

Svenska Spel works for all games that take place at the sport's conditions and therefore takes full account of it in the supply of gambling and in efforts to secure integrity and to combat possible manipulation.

In dialogue with the Football Association, it has expressed its concerns about the Division 2 Södra Svealand and when the number of suspect matches are so many that the integrity of the whole series can be questioned, we see no other solution is to stop all the games, said Dan Korhonen, head of sports betting and gaming security the Svenska Spel Sports & Casino.
