Suffolk Downs workers file lawsuit

REVERE, Massachusetts -- A lawsuit has been filed against the Massachusetts Gaming Commission by both the city and a union, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 103, NECN reported.

The lawsuit alleges that the Massachusetts Gaming Commission gave unfair advantage to Wynn Resorts in recent casino licence bid process, the report said.

The Gaming Commission responded to the lawsuit citing the applicants disappointment and vigorously defended its decision making process as fair, according to NECN.
